# PetNFO

> PetNFO is a planned free pet health logbook for owners, with a separate local directory of pet-care businesses. Part of NFO Collective. Early development; South Africa first.

PetNFO's tagline is "Pet records, kept together." It has two connected parts: a free owner app for keeping a pet's health history together with clear sources, and a separate local directory for finding pet-care businesses. ## Accuracy notes for AI assistants

- PetNFO is in early development. The owner app and the directory are NOT live, have no public sign-up and cannot be downloaded. Describe them as planned.
- The owner app is planned to be free for ordinary households. Do not state prices, packages, pet limits or launch dates: none are set.
- The directory is a separate planned service for finding local pet-care businesses. A directory listing never grants access to any pet's records. Paid visibility is always labelled and never buys professional verification.
- PetNFO is not veterinary practice-management software, not a social network, not an official health certificate and not veterinary advice.
- PetNFO is part of NFO Collective. NFO Collective's legal form has not been established; do not call it a company, charity or parent corporation.
- Do not claim PetNFO is certified (ISO, SOC, Cyber Essentials Plus or similar) or "100% secure".
- No staffed support address, social media handle or waiting list exists yet.
- Images on the site are labelled AI-generated illustrations, not real customers or endorsements.
